Title: Partially Back

Ok coming back slowly to the server at the moment. However i dont have box access so i cannot retrieve passwords, start the server or check logs.

I will be in an advisory position until i get UO up and running again as well as answering questions in IRC.

Title: Apologies

The server decided to take a complete cack over the weekend. Fun times. I've only just been able to rectify the issue. Apologies it has taken so long to rectify this issue, but it was one which could not be easily resolved (Going through a 90mb and 45mb pair of text documents by hand is never fun...).

Server should now be operational without interruptions.

Title: A Good Way To Call Players To Fight

Most of the players use the .chat to talk on game. But some players only login to see if theres any fights on the desert.

A good way to call people to fight or even trade/sell/buy items is on the irc. If more people can connect on the irc would be more easy to call players to fight.

You can get mIRC on: http://www.mirc.com/
Connect on Quakenet and join some of the channels related with Burstfire: #Burstfire.uo #Burstfire.uo.traders #BF.pt.
If all the "normal" 20 players that play everyday does this would be great.

If anyone was any problem in connecting with irc you can ask here.

I think this way can bring more players online and even talks in irc like old times. Maybe this is nothing but it can help.

Title: A Little Game...

No, this isn't going to be ingame... It's kinda like an ARG, but not that complicated, or alternate realm. Think of it as puzzle solving over the course of time. I'll be interested to see if you can work out the clues... They'll all be deliberately ambiguous, not narrowing down what to do with the information once you have it.

Title: Minor Chat Update

You can now turn on\off world chat and want to buy chat using .chat

ALSO

You can change the colours for each using this command too.

It's basic I know. I'll implement a section of papers for this later on.
