Full Version: Paging Guidelines
Burstfire UO Forums > General Discussion Forums > Help
Karl Ironblade
Hi all. just thought I'd make this little document in order to make stuff clear in regards to how to use the paging system correctly. Think of it as a little list of do's and don'ts smile.gif

First off...

DO:

- Explain your problem as clearly as possible in the page, to assist the GM in preparing for your case
- Try to stay in the same spot as where you paged until your page is answered.
- Take screenshots of any incident of illegal looting or bug abuse, the GM may request these in order to help
- Stay on the same character as is affected by the problem.

DON'T

- Page with one word such as "help" or "ajuda". This is not helpful
- Page with a command such as "Come here please" or "Come here now". This is likely to get your page ignored, or at the very least placed at a low priority
- Ask for a specific GM, unless you have been requested to by that GM, or you need to for any reason (i.e poor English)
- Log out immediately after paging. This will most likely get your page deleted.
- Page multiple times. You only need to page once and further pages only remove your original page from the queue.
- Page to gain information about certain skills, directional information, etc. These requests can be dealt with via the Burstfire UO Bible, or by using the "Help" forum.
-Page requesting a PvP. Staff run PvPs when they are able to, not when players demand one. Any page demanding a PvP will be disregarded and deleted.

I hope this will help you understand EXACTLY what the page system is for, and also will allow us to be more helpful to you when you need our assistance.

Thank you.
Pjanc
Also, if the page is able to be solved offline or with you being not there (stuck, items from a decayed houses), please include the coordinates (or any other important info for that matter).

lol...ah bless, you tried. You can create your own new topics with the add button when you click inside a forum. tongue.gif

Anyway I'll save you the trouble of making one, they stay, but I wouldn't worry about 10%, especially the one you have.
