Ok,when i delete TranServ folder from the uo folder i get "another instance of uo is running" (even when it isn't) then if i turn my laptop off / reboot i get "cannot load fonts.mul" i'm using vista so maybe it is a problem related to that. Help appreciated.

not sure about it..
try reinstall :/
