Hi,

My client keeps crashing after a short while.
I installed the patch manually and try using 203 and 400c, none of them seem to work for longer than 1 minute.

Is there a cure anywhere available here?
If it's already explained somewhere on the forum you can send me there.

The patch is the new .exe file in the news topic yes?

If so, the above should work...

If it still closes, try logging another character, or making a new one.. Might be your character is stuck.

You dont need to patch too far.. even just to 502 will be fine

Well, I patched all the way up to 506 now.
Everything works except for when I open up my skills-panel the client crashes

It's not all that bad but it's nice to know at what skill level I'm at...

that happens to me 2! the trick is to try to open it 3 times... and when u finally get to open it, dont close it anymore! just minimize it or wtv! u may crash the 3-4-5 times trying to open... but it will remain opened at least one of those times!

It will stop there sometimes

Just keep re-opening the patcher to carry it on.


506 works fine on BF still, just 509 is a bit better

506 won't work in any way for me

Whats the error message at login?
are you using UOGateway? or the direct patch?
if u r using uog click on "edit settings" and then do "reset patches".
if u r using the direct patch, just reinstall it.

about going up to 506 patch, try charm's trick, but first check if you have any file inside the folder at *:\uo main folder\patch\
if you do, delete it, and try again.
Oh, and dont forget to stop at 5091, bcuz clients up to that have a "problem" on maps.

He's on, but he can't type. Once he does, he get's a crash. He allready deleted the transl file thingie.

so im not the only one that can't get over the 5.0.6 patch..

just reopen the patch and it should work :\
