I used to play uo for years and now i'm trying to play it again and need a little help. I have downloaded the game. I see that we or no sopposed to patch higher then 5.0.9 . my problem is it came with 6.0 and is trying to autopatch ever time i start the came up it has mad it up to 6.0.3 or something like that. My Question is how do i stop the Auto patcher from patching more, and is there a way to back track patches?

O ya and does anyone know what happen to the uogatway i cant get on there site for some reason?

uogateway doesnt work anymore... download BFUO patch from the website!

If you downloaded UO:Kingdom Reborn, then it will start at 6.0.0. BFUO does not support KR, but will run 2d versions of 509+ with a few tiles missing in the map.

This can be fixed by downloading a 509 version of map0.mul (ask in IRC for this)


So if your not using kingdom reborn, you can still use high patches, as long as you get the old map files.



And it is Auto Account now, just sign in and account is made, dont multi account though as youll be caught =]

i downloaded the game here http://www.uo.com/uoml/newplayer.shtml the FTP one not sure when one it is lol and what i IRQ ? also i have tryed longing in but nota figure it was a pathc issue that is y i was asking questions about it

now it patched all the way up to 6.0.8.0 (patch 82) and stoped

Now download this:

and paste it into your main UO folder. (save the one already there as something like map0_608.mul or something)


Then you should be fine

Tidus, don't fully patch if you're using 9th anniversary.

Patch up to 6.0.5.0
Then install the bfuo patch that eddie listed above.

Then you should be fine

The gateway works fine...

uogateway was discontinued, so better not using it.

I can use it well without problems :\
