Companion Duties
Companions have the following responsibilites:
1) Responding to the comchat queries (will work on getting this advertised better for new players and raise the max account time a little bit)

2) Updating and adding skillguide and general gameplay guides to the website.

Companions are known by a companion tag over their heads which can only be enabled in guarded or safe areas. Tags will auto remove after a few seconds outside of these areas. Therefore a companion's duties do not extend outside of these zones.

If a companion would like to assist a player outside of guarded and safe areas it will be at his/her discretion and they will do so as a normal player and are not immune to being attacked by other players.

Companion rules.
1) Wearing the companion tag automatically puts you in a role of trust to players. Should that trust be broken via using your sway to advise a player in a way that intentionally puts them at risk either to another player or staff (i.e. suggesting they break a rule) or using information about the player to put them in harm's way (i.e. informing someone of the new player's whereabouts), the companion will immediately be stripped of his or her status.

2) The companion tag will automatically remove itself outside of safe-zones or guardzones. While inside guardzones you may participate in normal player activities as long as you are not using the status to gain favor from other players. For example: suggesting that you will only assist a player if they do this or that for you will not be tolerated.

3) Be honest with players who request assistance. If you don't know the answer to their question, simply let them know that you're unsure and then try to see if you can find the answer for them. Do not just make up something to look good.

4) Be patient and polite. If a situation arises where multiple players are trying to get your attention, simply tell them who you are speaking to at the time and that you will attend to them when you've finished with the person you were first working with.

5) Resurrecting players is NOT allowed while on-duty. Direct/Lead them to the nearest healer. As companion status can only be enabled while in a safe or guarded area there should be one nearby.

6) Try to act responsible while on duty, this means avoiding arguments and talking in a decent manner to other players.

7) Being a companion is a trusted position, appointed by staff and if you happen to be caught abusing the companion system in any way shape of form or any other bug, you will be dealt with severely.
